It has been a short but very full week! We started our Tuesday off strong by working on the letter A. The kids did a great job naming several things that begin with the letter A, doing a letter A magazine search, and making playdoh A’s. I love seeing their excitement about learning! We also worked on writing the number one and drawing triangles. We talked about how triangles have three points, but circles have none.
They also did a great job sharing about their show-and-tell items. We are working on speaking loud and clear in the show-and-tell chair. We are also working on showing respect to our speaker by listening and following with our eyes. Lastly, we wrapped up our community helpers unit by reading a great book by Scholastic called the “ABC of Jobs-The People That Make America Work.” Looking Ahead: Theme – My Senses Bible – The Flood Verse – Romans 3:23 Math – rectangles, 2 Handwriting – Bb, 2 Phonics - identify rhyming words Letter of the Week - B Color Word - yellow Sight Words – where, is, my Comments are closed.
